Sled Hockey is used throughout many major U.S cities as a form of therapeutic and competitive exercise. Teams such as Pittsburgh's Mighty Penguins and the Cincinnati IceBreakers are growing in size, and trying to accommodate for the newly gained popularity. Unfortunately, due to the high expense of equipment and sleds, teams are finding it very difficult to provide the necessary resources for their players, especially those of younger ages who are trying to test out a new sport. This difficulty is a growing concern because for many families and children, paraplegic sports are a place of comfort, so providing the resources necessary for all who are interested in the sport is very important
